Thank you and congratulations to PAR’s Chief Financial Officer Jim Antonio, CPA, CMA, who’s retiring this week after 44 years of service to the association.

Antonio has dedicated his career to ensuring the fiscal solvency of PAR, managing the internal human relations of the association, overseeing the building operations and willingly serving in any capacity needed. He oversees the finances for PAR’s multiple entities and political action committees, eight Association Independent Management clients and seven local associations managed by PAR.

PAR President Christopher Beadling said, “Jim has worked with 43 PAR treasurers and Finance Committees, lending his expertise to guide the association’s budget and financial operations. During this time, PAR’s budget has grown from $500,000 in 1978 to more than $7 million today. He’s been a tremendous asset to our organization.”

Over the years, Antonio has served as the interim CEO for PAR four times, helping five new CEOs navigate their new positions. In addition, he served on the Building Task Force that located PAR’s current headquarters in Lemoyne and coordinated work with contractors to renovate the facility.

“Anyone who has worked with Jim over the years appreciates his wisdom and knowledge of our organization,” said PAR CEO Mike McGee. “He is truly an institution within an institution when you realize he’s been with PAR more than 40% of its existence.”

“It’s been a pleasure to work at PAR. I’ve really enjoyed working with so many of our members over the years,” Antonio said. “I’ve learned a lot from them, and I hope I was able to provide some insight for them as well.”

He has plans to spend time fishing, biking and spending time with his wife Marilynn and their family.
