Local associations throughout the commonwealth will be sponsoring a variety of events to benefit local charities – all as part of PAR’s annual Realtors® Reach Out program in October.
Marking its ninth year, Realtors® Reach Out has made a significant impact on communities across the state. Nearly 11,000 Pennsylvania Realtors® have participated in Realtors® Reach Out, collectively raising nearly $400,000 and collected 45,600 pounds of food for their local charities.
PAR’s Board of Directors jump started the event with a food drive for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank at its recent meetings in Harrisburg. The board collected more than 700 pounds of food.
“Realtors® are generous with their time and donations,” said PAR President Todd Polinchock. “Realtors® and their local associations give back to their local communities throughout the year but Realtors® Reach Out month spotlights the big-heartedness of our members. They do an awesome job!”
