The Pennsylvania Realtors® Political Action Committee recently presented a new tool, the Election Guide, now available on the PAR website. The Election Guide highlights the candidates RPAC is supporting across Pennsylvania.
With the Nov. 6 Pennsylvania general election quickly approaching, the Election Guide provides you with a list of the RPAC-supported candidates you will see on your ballot. Once on the site, you just enter your address, and you will immediately see the candidates RPAC has endorsed based on their support of Realtors® and private property rights. In the General Assembly, there are 38 open seats and 104 incumbent legislators who have a general election challenger. There are also races for U.S. Congress, including eight open seats.
“With so many issues affecting our industry and our clients, it is more important than ever for Realtors® to elect candidates that are willing to fight for the housing industry and private property rights,” said PAR President Todd Umbenhauer. “The Election Guide gives you the opportunity to see which candidates PA RPAC has supported.”
You have the ability to print or email your ballot, as well as share the Election Guide on social media. Anyone can visit the site, enter their address and learn about the candidates RPAC is supporting.
As a reminder, Oct. 9 is the deadline to register to vote in the general election and Oct. 30 is the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot.
The Pennsylvania Department of State has polling place information and a list of candidates at votespa.com.
