Local Associations Honored With 2023 RPAC Awards
Local associations were honored for their 2023 Pennsylvania Realtors® Political Action Committee participation and investments at a luncheon in Harrisburg on Monday.
In 2023, members raised more than $908,000, which is the fourth-highest total Pennsylvania has ever raised. More than 14,000 Realtors® invested in RPAC, showing their commitment to the real estate industry and advocacy efforts.
“Today we celebrate the accomplishments of the 2023 RPAC fundraising campaign,” said Carey Smith, the 2023 chair of the RPAC Fundraising Committee. “I’m so excited to celebrate these accomplishments with each of you. The commitment you all have shown helps to further the goals of the real estate industry and ensures the Realtor® voice is heard. I want to thank you for supporting our profession and RPAC.”
The top three local associations in each size category were honored with awards.
Highest Membership Participation
Awards were first presented to associations based on highest membership participation. In the small association category, the winners were:
- McKean County Association with 129.03% participation
- Clearfield-Jefferson Association with 90.00% participation
- North Central Penn Board with 80.73% participation
In the medium association category, the winners were:
- Pike/Wayne Association with 72.33% participation
- Realtors® Association of Westmoreland, Indiana and Mon Valley with 66.73% participation
- Allegheny Highland Association with 61.65% participation
In the large association category for membership participation, the winners were:
- Pocono Mountains Association with 63.49% participation
- Luzerne County Association with 51.49% participation
- Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties with 35.27% participation
And in the extra-large association category, the top three were:
- Tri-County Suburban Realtors® with 38.01% participation
- Bucks County Association with 36.14% participation
- Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh with 30.99% participation
Highest Per Capita Fundraising
Next, local associations were awarded based on highest per capita fundraising. Small association winners were:
- McKean County Association with 493.55% of goal
- North Central Penn Board with 301.16% of goal
- Cambria Somerset Association with 165.40% of goal
The top three medium association winners were:
- Centre County Association with 481.85% of goal
- Central Susquehanna Valley Board with 465.24% of goal
- Pike/Wayne Association with 236.82% of goal
Large association winners were:
- Pocono Mountains Association with 296.01% of goal
- Reading-Berks Association with 230.67% of goal
- Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties with 199.42% of goal
And the top three extra-large associations per capita were:
- Tri-County Suburban Realtors® with 197.91% of goal
- Greater Harrisburg Association with 164.86% of goal
- Greater Philadelphia Association with 134.95% of goal
Most Improved
Lastly, one association in each size category was awarded for their improvements from 2022 to 2023 in both member participation and per capita fundraising. Small association winners were:
- Member participation: Clearfield-Jefferson Association
- Per capita fundraising: Lawrence County Board
The most improved medium associations were:
- Member participation: Allegheny Highland Association
- Per capita fundraising: Greater Allegheny-Kiski Area
Large association winners were:
- Member participation: Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties
- Per capita fundraising: Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties
Lastly, the most improved extra-large associations were:
- Member participation: Greater Harrisburg Association
- Per capita fundraising: Greater Harrisburg Association
At Least 50% RPAC Participation
These 19 associations were also recognized for having at least 50% participation in RPAC in 2023:
