Pittsburgh has been holding steady on the list of U.S. cities where homebuyers are favored in the market, according to Zillow. In October, the city was named as the fourth most favorable market nationwide for buyers, trailing behind Miami, Indianapolis and Milwaukee.
“Some buyers in the Pittsburgh market are feeling encouraged by the recent, modest interest-rate dips, while others remain understandably cautious,” says Michelle Senko, president of the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.
“Ultimately, every buyer and seller needs to evaluate their own financial situation and goals first – independent of short-term market shifts. Even in a steady, resilient market like Pittsburgh, fluctuations will always be a factor, but the ‘right’ decision is the one that makes sense personally.”
“Consulting with an experienced Realtor® and financial professional can provide strategic insight buyers need to make informed decisions and move forward with confidence,” Senko reminds.
