About the Broker’s Request for Affirmation
The Broker’s Request for Affirmation (Form BRFA) enables members to easily comply with NAR’s Standards of Practice 1-7 and 1-8 in the Code of Ethics. Realtors who have presented an offer or counteroffer on behalf of their client may present a written request to the other party’s agent for written confirmation that the offer or counteroffer was, in fact, presented.
