Volunteering with our association is mutually beneficial for both your career and the statewide real estate industry. PAR has numerous committees available for you to join and make your voice heard. Use your experience from both in and outside the industry to make positive change for your fellow Realtors®. If you have an interest in being a member of a PAR committee in 2019, then please take a moment to apply online at PARealtor.org.
Personally, becoming a volunteer with PAR led me to where I am today. I chaired the Issues Mobilization and the Legislative Committees and served as vice chair of the Business Issues Legislative Subcommittee. I was also the District 2 Vice President for two years before serving as the 2016 PAR treasurer. I truly believe that my volunteerism with PAR has had a tremendously positive impact on my career.
Not only have I networked with hundreds of other Realtors®, but I have also been able to use my experience in real estate to help make changes in PAR. Volunteering with PAR has been both personally and professionally rewarding.
There is a committee for everyone. When you find a committee that appeals to you, add it to the list of your top three choices. Be sure to include if you’re interested in serving as a member or leader of that particular committee.
The deadline for responding to this call for volunteers is Friday, June 8.
Please take a moment to respond to this request. We’d love to have you be part of the decision-making process. I look forward to seeing you involved with your state association.
