Christy Manetta, a member of Bucks County Association of Realtors®, recently listed a unique, historic property named Drumbore Farm.
The farm dates back to the late 1600s, and the land it sits on was part of an original land grant from William Penn himself. The main part of the home was built in 1798, and the most recent additions were completed a few years ago.
“In planning their updates, the current owners were inspired by the original home’s exterior stone, which they admired deeply,” Manetta notes. “With care and intention, they thoughtfully incorporated the exposed stone into the design of the kitchen and primary suite to create a seamless blend of historic charm and modern comfort.”
Modern additions throughout the farm include: a studio in the barn for painting and audio recording, radiant floors in several areas and a gourmet chef’s kitchen. The home also features several custom-crafted pieces, like furniture, cabinetry and ceiling beams made from reclaimed barn wood.
“Drumbore Farm is a distinctive estate that seamlessly blends historical significance with modern amenities,” she shares. “The care, thoughtfulness and precision put into the updating and continued maintenance of the home make it unique and treasured. The current owners have created a peaceful and serene atmosphere at Drumbore while also providing expansive and beautiful spaces for entertaining and gatherings.”
“I’m honored to represent Drumbore Farm, because it’s a property that stands out for its character, thoughtful design and exceptional quality. From the moment you arrive, it is apparent that the property weaves a story through time; the sense of warmth and timeless appeal resonate at every turn. Telling Drumbore Farm’s story is a true privilege.”
