RPAC Investments Reach $937,000 in 2019

Pennsylvania Realtors® Political Action Committee investments reached an all-time high in 2019, raising more than $937,000, outpacing 2018’s record-setting year by more than $86,000.

PAR also reach the NAR participation and President’s Circle goals, and had 188 major investors, again surpassing the goal and confirming that, for the third time, PAR will receive the NAR RPAC Triple Crown. In 2019, 13,257 PAR members invested in RPAC, helping to exceed the 2019 goal of $900,000. Thirty-six local associations in the commonwealth reached their fundraising goals.

In the highest membership participation category for small associations, the Elk-Cameron County Board took first place with 133.33% participation, followed by the Bradford Sullivan Association with 102.94% participation and the McKean County Association in third place with 102.7% participation.

In the medium association category, the Pike/Wayne Association took home top honors with 78.96% participation, followed by the Realtors® Association of Westmoreland, Indiana and Mon Valley with 71.05% participation in second place and the West Branch Valley Association in third with 63.27% participation.

Moving on to the large association category, in first place was the Reading-Berks Association with 40.11% participation, while the Pocono Mountains Association took second with 34.14% participation and the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties came in third with 32.14% participation.

In the extra large association category, the Bucks County Association nabbed first place with 46.85% participation, followed by the Suburban West Realtors® Association with 41.84% participation and the Montgomery County Association with 37.44% participation.

In the highest per capita fundraising for small associations, the North Central Penn Board came in first place with 280.65% of goal, followed by the Cambria Somerset Association with 232.06% of goal and the Bradford Sullivan Association with 188.56% of goal.

For the medium association category, the Centre County Association took top place with 525.87% of goal, followed by the Butler County Association with 525.71% of goal and in third place was the Realtors® of Westmoreland, Indiana and Mon Valley with 275.69% of goal.

In the large association category, the Reading-Berks Association was first with 313.09% of goal, then the Pocono Mountains Association with 211.99% of goal and in third, the Realtors® Association of York & Adams Counties with 195.70% of goal

Finally, in the extra large association category, the Montgomery County Association was first with 231.83% of goal, then came the Suburban West Realtors® Association with 216.82% of goal and in third place was the Greater Philadelphia Association with 182.03% of goal. .

For the most improved, in small associations, the Warren County Board won most improved for member participation by increasing member participation by nearly 30% from 2018 and the most improved per capita fundraising was the Cambria Somerset Association, who upped their fundraising by almost 40% from 2018.

In the medium association category, the Lebanon County Association won most improved member participation by increasing their percentage by close to 30%, and the most improved per capita fundraising was the Luzerne County Association, who increased their fundraising by over 36% from 2018.

In the large Association category, the Reading-Berks Association won the most improved member participation for increasing their participation rate by nearly 10% and the Lancaster County Association won for per capita fundraising by increasing their percent of goal by more than 60%.

Finally, in the extra large association category, the Greater Philadelphia Association won for most improved member participation, while the Suburban West Realtors® Association won in the most improved per capita fundraising category, raising more than $20,000 more than in 2018.

Twenty-one local associations achieved at least 50% participation in RPAC in 2019.
