Most Common Colors in Million-Dollar Celebrity Homes

Have you ever wondered what colors celebrities paint their multimillion-dollar homes? Whether you’re just curious or you want to emulate the luxury yourself, Five Star Painting analyzed celebrity home tour videos to find the answers.

The top colors found in celebrities’ homes were:

  1. Beige (51.1%)
  2. Green (48.9%)
  3. Gray (48.9%) (tie)
  4. Brown (46.7%)
  5. Pink (37.8%)

Neutrals dominate the list, with beige taking the crown. The most popular shades of beige seen in celebrity homes were pale taupe, tan and dark vanilla.

Following behind, shades of olive and sage were popular greens among stars’ homes, then grays in pastel gray, stone and silver.

Which celebrity homes fit the neutral norm?

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s home fits the neutral mold of many celebrity abodes. Their kitchen features a palette of olive green, various browns and granite gray, with their family room leaning into warmer browns and reds.

NBA star Devin Booker’s kitchen also features shades of olive, gray and brown, and his rec room is decked out in brown, gray and gold hues.

Gwyneth Paltrow uses neutrals, too, with pops of more vibrant colors. While her entryway palette consists of metallic green and various gray tones, she chose brown hues with a pop of bold imperial blue for her kitchen.

Which celebrity homes break the mold?

David Harbour and Lily Allen’s once-shared home broke the celebrity neutrals mold, with a living room featuring carrot orange, shimmery blush and moss green; a bathroom painted in bright pink, pale blue and metallic red; and a bedroom in air blue, Turkish rose and sea green.

Debby Ryan and Josh Dun’s home also uses some brighter colors, including popstar pink and international orange in the living room, and amethyst and pastel blue in the dining room.

RuPaul isn’t afraid of bright colors either – especially not orange. He has jungle turquoise in his living room, vermillion in his kitchen and sherbet orange in his bedroom.
