Why is voting important?
The 2024 Pennsylvania primary election is on Tuesday, April 23. Along with the opportunity to cast votes for President and U.S. Senate candidates, there are many state elections across the commonwealth. The General Assembly has 17 open seats and 24 incumbent legislators with primary election challengers. There are also races for U.S. Congress, with all 17 sitting U.S. congressmen seeking re-election this cycle. As Realtors®, it is important to back candidates who support private property rights and the real estate industry. The Pennsylvania Department of State has polling place information and a list of candidates at votespa.com.
The Pennsylvania Realtors® PAC Trustees have endorsed many candidates for open legislative seats or incumbent candidates with primary election challengers. These endorsements are based on candidates’ commitment to real estate, as well as candidate interviews and recommendations from our local Realtor® associations.
