Dr. Courtney Johnson Rose

In celebration of Black History Month, PAR’s President Preston Moore talks with Dr. Courtney Johnson Rose, president of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. They discuss NAREB, one of the oldest minority trade associations, and its mission, goals and the biases the real estate industry faces that NAREB addresses.

Dr. Johnson Rose began her career as a project management consultant at Accenture, a leading consulting company. She earned her Texas real estate broker license in 2002 and joined her family’s real estate firm GEJ Development as a real estate developer and broker. She has served as CEO of GEJ since 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, a master’s degree in community development and a doctorate in organizational leadership. Dr. Johnson Rose has served as a faculty member and adjunct professor for Prairie View A&M University. She also created and hosted a show called Real Estate Today that appeared on Comcast and has appeared several times on HGTV.
