West Chester Realtor® Receives the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® Lifetime Achievement Award

Lemoyne, PA – Guy Matteo, an associate real estate broker with RE/MAX Preferred Newtown Square, was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® recently in Harrisburg, recognizing his significant contribution to the Realtor® organization. 

A real estate professional for more than 38 years, Matteo is a member of the Tri-County Suburban Realtors® and has served on many committees and work groups at the local association. He was a member of the local board of directors for six years and was presented with the Realtor® of the Year award. 

He was a member of the Suburban Realtors® Alliance Board of Directors for 11 years, serving as its chairman in 1999 and 2000. 

Matteo was president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® in 2011. In addition, he served as a PAR district vice president and has chaired countless committees and task forces over the years, including the Legislative, Screening, Public Policy and Association Headquarters and Staffing Needs committees. PAR named him the Realtor® of the Year in 2008 and presented him with the Realtor® Active in Politics Award. He currently serves as the chair of the Member Conduct Task Force.

He is a member of the Tri-County, PAR and the National Association of Realtors® RPAC Halls of Fame, having made lifetime investments totaling more than $34,000.

Matteo is committed to advocating for private property rights and homeownership. He has served as the chairman of the Southeast Regional Political Action Committee Trustees for 20 years.
