Pittsburgh Area Realtor® to Serve as President-Elect of Pennsylvania Association of Realtors®

LEMOYNE, PA – A Pittsburgh area Realtor® will serve as the president-elect of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® this year. David Dean, a Sewickley Realtor®, was installed as the president-elect of the state organization during a recent ceremony in Harrisburg.  

Dean has been a Realtor® for 21 years and works with Howard Hanna Real Estate in Sewickley. 

A past PAR district vice president, Dean represented members from Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland counties in that role. He has been a member of PAR’s Board of Directors for more than 10 years and was a member of several state committees, also chairing the Diversity Committee. In 2017, PAR presented Dean with the Realtor® Active in Politics Award. In addition, he is a PAR and National Association of Realtors® RPAC Hall of Fame inductee. 

Dean is a past president of his local association, the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh. He is very active at the local association, serving on several committees, including the Government Affairs Committee. He is the recipient of the association’s Richard Stampahar Most Active in Politics Award. Dean also serves as a NAR federal political coordinator for Sen. John Fetterman. 

Dean holds the following professional designations: Accredited Buyer Representative, At Home With Diversity, e-PRO, GREEN, Military Relocation Professional, Seller Representative Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist and Certified International Property Specialist. He also completed the NAR Commitment to Excellence program and the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance Ally certification. A graduate of the College of Wooster, Dean is a fair housing and ADA-compliant instructor.
