Real Estate Law
About this Course
Successful professionals are those who understand and share what they know while seeking to identify and learn what they don’t know. In this broker-level course, students will examine the real estate transaction from the point of view of a successful real estate professional. This 30-hour course covers real estate law concepts related to ownership and interests, contract law, the real estate transaction process, and leases. License, fair housing, antitrust, and agency laws will also be discussed, along with licensee liability.
Real Estate Law is intended to provide a road map, or early warning system, of potential legal issues that a practicing real estate professional faces every day.
Real Estate Law satisfies 2 of the core credits required for real estate broker licensing in Pennsylvania.
