The Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission requires all salespersons to complete 14 hours of mandatory continuing education during their first renewal cycle. For the 2024-2026 renewal cycle, this applies to those licensed between Dec. 1, 2023 and Nov. 30, 2025. The General Module is one of the required courses.

This course provides salespersons with a high level of knowledge and understanding regarding key areas of real estate practice. Real Estate Professionals will learn: the duties of licensees, closing costs for buyers and sellers, the Agreement of Sale and addenda, title reports, agency relationships, zoning and environmental concerns.
