Start Like a Champion in 2026

“We’ve all heard the statement ‘finish like a champion,’ but I think Triple Play is a great place to get people thinking about how they’re going to start like a champion in 2026,” says Sean Carpenter, a Realtor®, speaker and consultant.

Carpenter is teaching a session at this year’s Triple Play Realtor® Convention and Trade Expo called “Start Like a Champion,” where he’ll highlight how the best Realtors® progress through their careers and how they can set themselves up for a successful 2026.

“Regardless of where attendees are in their career, the session is designed to remind them of the things they did to reach where they’re at, and what it’s going to take to reach the next level of their business,” Carpenter says. “I think it’s important to remember that you’re never really accomplished – you can always get better.”

The session is crafted for any Realtors®, regardless of industry experience. Carpenter will focus on teaching attendees the best ways to get off to a good start in the new year. He says, “If we can have a good first quarter, we’ve got a great chance of having a great year.”

He will help Realtors® come up with a business system that creates consistency and gives them a better chance to have a more successful 2026. His session will look at the four stages of competence and the four stages of being a Realtor®: rookie, starter, veteran and champion.

“As the saying goes, ‘What got you here isn’t going to get you there,’” Carpenter quips, emphasizing the fact that Realtors® must adapt and evolve throughout their careers. “My session is super fun and engaging, and attendees will walk away with lots of good stories and examples to help them become better in 2026. If you’re looking for ideas, information and inspiration, this is the session for you.”
