About the Oral Consumer Notice
If the first discussion about real estate with the consumer does not take place in person, the Consumer Notice regulations provide for an Oral Consumer Notice (Form OCN) to be read aloud to be followed up with the written Consumer Notice at the first in-person meeting. The Form OCN must be read word-for-word to a consumer when the first substantive conversation is held over the phone.
