REMI names top three online solutions for Realtors®

122571728The Real Estate Marketing Insider (REMI), an online magazine specializing in the real estate market, announced last week its pick for the top three online tools available for Realtors®.

The REMI Top 3 details three strategies or suggestions for improving real estate business. Last week’s top three examined three online tools that are available to Realtors® for free.

Here are REMI’s suggested free software tools for Realtors®:

Google Maps: The popular online platform isn’t just for getting directions anymore. As its maps and street-view technology continue to improve, Realtors® can count on it for high-resolution views of properties that can be shown to clients on a whim, embedded on a website, or included in a virtual tour.

Evernote: This non-paid note-taking software represents a key tool for Realtors® working in the field. Notes can be typed onto any iPhone, iPad, Android device, or computer; many mobile apps have handwriting recognition available for Realtors® who prefer to use a stylus. When the Realtor® gets back to their workstation, the notes they’ve taken in the field will be there, ready for use, with no syncs or uploads necessary. This can be an important time and work saver.

YouTube and Vimeo: For a successful small-practice Realtor®, there’s nothing more important than developing a personality for their practice and firm. Short videos featuring the Realtor® can go a long way in “humanizing” a practice. With mobile devices and tablets, videos are easy and quick to make and publish. Throw in a well-tended Facebook or Twitter account, and the possibilities for advertising using online videos are endless.
