Rossi: Consumers want ‘beyond’ service
Realtors® are no longer in the game of selling, according to 2011 Triple Play speaker and educator Jerry Rossi.
“We are that third party who is facilitating the purchase of a property,” he said. “You cannot sell someone a house or sell a house for someone. People purchase what they want, need, desire and can afford.”
‘What the public wants’ is among the topics Rossi will discuss during the return of the 2011 Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo, from Dec. 6-8 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Rossi will offer an education session titled ‘Things Just Don’t Gotta Get Better – You Do’ on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Rossi’s session will offer points on how to manage the market and provide insight into what consumers really want from a Realtor®. “With technology, people can view any house in the world they want on their own,” he said. “The [real estate] professional observes, studies, experiences and understands what the consumer wants. Service is expected. They want ‘beyond’ service.”
With over 30 years in the real estate industry, Rossi has delivered more than 3000 presentations and provides interactive workshops to companies, corporations and associations. He recently published Dog Eat Dog & Vice Versa: 9 Secrets to Put the Bite Into Your Marketing. He leads speaking engagements across North America and was recently hired to bring his technology marketing information to the largest and most successful real estate office in Singapore.
Triple Play is co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York State Associations of Realtors®.
