If you’re attending next month’s Triple Play Realtor® Convention in Atlantic City, you won’t want to miss Paula Monthofer’s sessions.
Monthofer will be presenting four classes at six sessions from Monday, Dec. 3 through Thursday, Dec. 6. “You are going to get your CE and you will learn how to market yourself even better,” she said.
“I love that all the classes I teach are completely different take than what you’re used to being presented,” said Monthofer. She said her ethics class, Tech Ethics: The Code, Social Media & Technology, will provide agents with the tools they need to protect themselves.
“Realtors® will sometimes post inappropriate or off-color memes. They don’t realize that you never take your Realtor® hat off. Also, when you post something negative about a fellow Realtor® regarding a listing or closing, it is easy to find out who you are talking about,” she said. “Have an understanding of what you’re sharing on social media.”
Beyond that, Monthofer will address how technology has changed the real estate industry, especially with scams and how Realtors® can protect themselves and their clients.
Monthofer will also help Realtors® navigate the tricky world of social media in her session Fun Apps for Great Snaps.
“It can be so overwhelming, and we break through confusion in the course of an hour. We will talk about how to do marketing easily from wherever you are, and by the end of the class, you will have marketing done that you can use,” she said.
“It’s not about the piece of marketing , it’s the fact that you learn how to use it there. It’s really easy and not hard. We take away the mystique and teach you how to do it. Don’t push it away. You are capable,” she added.
“Triple Play is going to be fantastic,” she said. “I am excited to attend sessions when I am not teaching.”
Monthofer will be presenting Fun Apps for Great Snaps on Monday Dec. 3 from 12 to 1 p.m. and on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. She will present Fair Housing’s Inspiration on Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Safety Pays! Protected, Professional & Profitable on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. She will also present Tech Ethics: The Code, Social Media & Technology on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
