PAR’s Lerner and Clouser Teaching CE at Triple Play
PAR Chief Legal Officer Hank Lerner and Associate Counsel Kacy Clouser will teach a course at next week’s Triple Play Realtor® Convention & Trade Expo titled “Who’s In Charge Here? Lessons in Licensee Duties and Broker Supervision.”
“Review actual, real-life disciplinary decisions from the PA State Real Estate Commission to learn more about the duties and responsibilities imposed upon real estate brokers and agents, and how to better comply with those rules at all levels,” the course description reads. “Topics will include advertising compliance, property management, management of escrow funds, responding to Commission inquiries, and much, much more!”
The course’s highlights from real-life disciplinary decisions will help educate Realtors® on what’s actually happening in the real estate market, providing practical knowledge while fulfilling required continuing education requirements. It fulfills the PA Real Estate Commission required topics for the 2022-2024 continuing education cycle. New licensees renewing for the first time are exempt from this one-time requirement and are required to take the mandatory course for new licensees.
Lerner and Clouser’s course will be offered twice on Tuesday, Dec. 5 – once from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and once from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The course is expected to fill up fast, so those planning on attending are encouraged to show up early.
The two will also be offering a course titled “PA Legal Update,” which will update attendees on Pennsylvania legal issues. This course will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
