The goals included: dollars raised, percentage of members who participated, number of major investors and number of President’s Circle members. Pennsylvania achieved all goals:
108 percent of its RPAC fundraising goal, raising $$146,138 for national RPAC
35 percent of PAR members were investors to reach PAR’s participation goal
102 percent of its major investor goal, with 96 major investors
144 percent of its president’s circle goal with 13 members.
“The Triple Crown Award is obtained by reaching several fundraising goals. This is the first time PAR has reached these goals. I’m so proud of Pennsylvania Realtors®,” said NAR RPAC Fundraising Chair and past PAR President Ellen Renish.
“Realtors® in Pennsylvania understand how important it is to safeguard private property rights, homeownership and protection for our businesses. They demonstrated their commitment to advocate for these tenets and were recognized for their efforts with the NAR Triple Crown award for 2015,” Renish said. “Pennsylvania Realtors® understand the importance of being involved in political advocacy to maintain a healthy climate for Realtors® and the consumers we serve. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work.”
The Montgomery County Association received a NAR Performance Achievement Award during the annual RPAC Awards Ceremony at the Mid-Year Meetings. Montgomery County won third place in the large association category, recognizing its RPAC fundraising efforts. NAR ranks associations throughout the country in four size categories, and the rankings are based on participation, major investors and president’s circle investors as a percentage of overall membership to give a total composite score.
