So you’re diligently posting on social media, sharing your listings, wisdom and tips and tricks for both buyers and sellers.
But when you post could impact who your audience is and how many more views you are getting. According to Hubspot, if you are using Facebook, the best times to post on the social network are between 12-3 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The best days to post are Friday and Saturday, while Sundays are the worst. The worst time to post is 6 a.m. to noon.
For Realtors® using Instagram, the best day to post is Saturday, while Monday is the least effective. The best time to post is typically noon to 9 p.m., while 6 a.m. to noon is the worst. On Twitter, Wednesdays and Fridays are the best days to post, between 9 a.m. and noon. Early morning tweets, from 6 to 9 a.m., are least effective.
On LinkedIn, Monday is the best day to post, followed by Tuesday and then Wednesday. Timing-wise, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the best time to post. Avoid posting on weekends, that is when your content will have the least impressions.
If you’re going through the work of creating videos and posting them on YouTube, you want the most eyes on them. Friday and Saturday are the best days to post, specifically from 3 to 9 p.m. Skip posting on Tuesdays and early morning (6 to 9 a.m.).
How do you create a plan with all this information? First, set up a weekly calendar deciding what day and time you are going to post on each social media site. And remember you don’t have to be on every single platform.
