Follow a Pennsylvania Realtor® at NAR’s Realtors® Conference & Expo

If you can’t make NAR’s Realtors® Conference & Expo from Nov. 13-16, you can still stay up-to-date with Conference Live.

Conference Live is a free “virtual window” into the conference, where you can go behind-the-scenes and catch up on the action. More than 30 featured attendees will be a part of Conference Live 2015, including Erica Ramus of the Schuylkill County Board of Realtors®. Ramus will share her personal experiences and thoughts throughout the event.

“Even if you cannot attend in person, following the blogs online will give you insight into what is happening at the convention. We’ll be reporting from committee meetings and educational seminars. We’ll be interviewing trade show vendors and top agents across the country. Even if you just read the blogs you’ll learn a bunch,” said Ramus.

Ramus, who was a featured attendee at NAR’s Realtors® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo in May in Washington, D.C. this year, was asked by NAR to blog again for this event. Ramus, a blogger since 2007, is one of the top real estate bloggers on ActiveRain.com.

“Getting out of my own little part of the world and learning what brokers do in other parts of the country and talking with other professionals in person gives you insight on what’s going on in other brokerages and other states, and opens your eyes to new ideas. Even if you just take back to the office one new idea, it’s worth it to me,” she said.

“I love the networking and the trade show. I have dinners and meet-ups arranged with brokers and agents from across the country, and a list of vendors I want to visit at the trade show,” she added.

Ramus said she attends the Realtors® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo, Triple Play in December, and this conference to broaden her horizons and learn what is going on in other parts of the real estate world.

“We get so caught up in doing the same old thing in our companies and our part of the country that we may not realize all the great things going on around us. I love learning new things and ways to do business,” she said.

The site will be active all four days of the conference, Nov. 13-16, and all content will remain available throughout the year.
