D’Orazio competing in NAR’s 30 Under 30
Pennsylvania Realtor® Dino D’Orazio is a finalist in NAR’s Realtor® magazine’s 30 Under 30 contest. PAR members are urged to vote for him online to help him earn the Web Choice Winner award. Thirty Realtors® will be selected from the 50 Realtor® finalists in the annual contest.
A Keller Williams Real Estate agent in Blue Bell, D’Orazio, 29, has been in the business five years. “I started with Keller Williams and I think that’s a huge reason why I’ve been successful,” he said. “I follow the good habits of the top agents in the office and it has cut the learning curve.”
A residential Realtor®, he works with many first-time home buyers. “Working with first-time buyers is one of my favorite parts of the job,” he explained. “They’re so nervous at first but you walk them through the process and you can feel how excited they are when someone accepts their bid. I think the most important aspect of our job is getting people to where they want to be.”
D’Orazio started out working in a family business doing interior design, window treatments and re-upholstering furniture. The family also owned some commercial and rental properties. “I always enjoyed renovating properties after someone moved out and so it seemed like a natural course for me to go into real estate,” he said.
D’Orazio and his wife have a 20-month-old daughter and another child on the way. He enjoys biking, running and skiing when he’s not selling real estate.
“I think real estate is a great career because of what people can accomplish in this business when they apply themselves,” he said. “It’s a lot of fun, meeting new people, seeing beautiful homes and helping people find a new home. With a positive mindset and, there’s no ceiling to what you can achieve.”
Voting is open on the NAR site until Sunday, April 3, and visitors can vote as often as they choose.
