The deadline to register to vote in the next election, which will take place Tuesday, May 16, is rapidly approaching. You must register by May 1 to be able to participate in this election.
Registering to vote is quite easy these days. You have several options. You can register online, you can submit your application to your county voter registration office or you can mail your application to the county registration office. Not sure if you are registered? You can check here. If you have moved or changed addresses, changed your name and/or want to change your political party, you can update that online too.
Voting is something I never take for granted; I make a priority to do each and every Election Day. The officials we vote on in a local election are the start in the chain of command and I want to make sure the people in charge realize the importance of the real estate industry. It is vital that the Realtor® voice is heard in government at every stage. We want to elect candidates that understand private property rights.
Register to vote today so you can help make the Realtor® voice loud and strong; it’s one way we can continue to advocate for ourselves and our business in the commonwealth.
