Realtors® can learn how to successfully use videos in their business during the Triple Play Realtors® Convention in Atlantic City, December 8-11.

Real estate guru Amy Chorew says incorporating video is important in today’s market. “It’s not that Realtors® don’t want to add video, but it’s often hard to determine what’s the best use of their time,” she said. “Consumers are taking a long time in the sales funnel to make a decision. They can get information about listings anywhere so where’s the added value? Video allows Realtors® to make a connection with consumers before they make the ask.”

The Triple Play discussion will feature a panel of several agents who are creating unique video experiences for their consumers. “Realtors® can see what works, what doesn’t and how to get a return on their investment when doing videos.”

The panel will include:

  • Patrick Lilly of CORE in New York. Lilley has a YouTube page where he features interviews with local business owners and his listings. He’s created a following with his sometimes goofy videos.
  • Raj Qsar of The Boutique Real Estate Group in California. He features family and friends in his more personal video approach.
  • Leigh Brown of Leigh Brown & Associates RE/MAX Executive in North Carolina. Her strong southern accent is featured heavily in her unique style of videos.
  • Karlton Utter is the director of Learning Technologies and Solutions for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. He uses his smartphone to capture videos of life experiences.

“These panelists represent several markets and are four very different people, but they are all using video successfully in their businesses,” Chorew said. “The session will allow Realtors® to ask questions from professionals in the real estate industry.

“There are many reasons people are holding back from incorporating video into their business,” she added. “They need to make a plan to help them get started because consumers are looking for videos and if you aren’t using them, they think the Realtor® isn’t current in today’s market.”
