RPR® reports offer Realtors® ability to keep clients updated

How can you keep your clients engaged and informed of the local market?

While you may picture yourself spending hours searching for data and then mundanely typing numbers into a spreadsheet, there is an easier way to compile all the information you need.

Free to members of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), Realtors Property Resource® (RPR®) offers Realtors® the ability to compile a report of all the changes in the local market, including a list of active, pending, sold, expired and distressed properties, and any recent price changes.

The market activity report can offer details for the past few days, weeks, or even up to three months, which allows you to easily create reports for your clients.

Homeowners expect to have access to all the changes in the market while their property is for sale. Perhaps they have a few distressed properties down the street, and they are concerned about how those properties may affect their home’s value.

Many consumers turn to the Internet for information, where incorrect property information, inaccurate house values and dated information can give them unrealistic expectations of market time and value.

Instead, you can easily give them accurate and correct data by simply logging into RPR® and creating a market activity report. Now, your client has precise and updated information readily available to them.

Beyond impressing current clients, what about attracting new clients? Again, RPR® reports can help. The neighborhood report is a way to showcase not only your local knowledge, but the neighborhood as well. The report can include statistics like the number of households with children, weather and commuting information, just to name a few.

Creating this report for display at open houses gives perspective buyers an idea of the neighborhood. Even if they are not interested in the house you have listed, your report covers the local area, and it’s likely the buyers will hang on to it as they continue to preview homes.

Because of the value you demonstrated and the fact that your contact information is included on the report, chances are high that when they have more questions, they will be quick to get back in touch with you.
