The introduction of smart phones and tablets has revolutionized the way Realtors® do their jobs.
Laptops, iPads, and mobile real estate web apps have all been major benefits to a career that is fast paced and depends on lots of information that seems to be constantly changing.
Realtors® have hundreds of choices to make when determining which mobile apps will help them be more productive and better connected in their business.
Here’s a list of six free apps that Realtors® can use to further their business:
Dropbox: Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring all your photos, documents and videos anywhere you go. Any file you save to your Dropbox is accessible from your computers, smartphones and the Dropbox website.
CalcMoolator: CalcMoolator’s free, easy-to-use financial calculators make it simple to calculate a mortgage payment, compare job opportunities, make educated financial decisions like whether to lease or buy and ultimately save money.
MagicPlan: This free iPhone app measures your rooms and draws your floor plan by taking pictures. Users can create floor plans, allow edits, add features including staircases, windows, furniture, etc. The floor plan is available in PDF, JPG and DXF format or can be published as an interactive floor plan on the web.
Doc Scan: With Doc Scan, users can turn any document into a PDF simply by snapping a photo.
RedLaser: Using a cell phone camera, you can scan upc codes to identify a product and the cheapest place to buy it online or at local stores.
DMD: This is an easy-to-use panoramic picture app. Launch the app, take a picture, and steadily move the camera to the left or right to stitch together multiple images. This feature offers panoramic views of entire rooms and features and also allows users to zoom in or out of a photo.
