RealSatisfied, realtor.com® named top agent rating sites in 2016

By Kelly Leighton | Oct. 31, 2016 | 2 min. read

Two years ago, PAR launched a system to rate the websites that rate Realtors®, with the intent of guiding Realtors® and consumers to select a system they can trust.

And we’re back again. PAR is presenting its third Ratings System Report Card, rating the nine websites where Realtors® can be rated as agents. Last year, we reviewed 10 websites. Since then, NeighborCity has ceased to exist and no new rating sites have shown up on our radar.

This year, some sites have made updates or changes that have impacted their score. Some sites have not, and have the same score and a similar review to 2015. As we have done in the past, we scored the sites based on the same 10 questions. The best a site could do was 10 stars, and the worst was 0. We looked at all of the publicly available information for each site and once again awarded sites one star, a half-star or zero stars based on the criteria.

For 2016, RealSatisfied was our highest-scoring site, gaining 10/10 stars. HomeLight and Yelp tied for last, with just 5/10 stars. Across all nine rating sites, the average score is 7.5 stars.

We’d be interested to hear what you think about our ratings. If you have any suggestions, we’re happy to hear them. Please provide any specific thoughts about individual criteria or other sites to rate through the feedback form you’ll find along with the report card.
