Update Contact Information in PALS for License Renewal News

By Kim Shindle | March 5, 2024 | 1 min. read

The Pennsylvania real estate license renewal 2022-2024 cycle deadline is quickly approaching. Real estate licensees are urged to ensure their contact information is current in the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS). Members should log into PALS to confirm that their email address and brokerage information are correct, to ensure they receive license renewal information from the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission.

The SREC will email license renewal information approximately 60 days prior to the May 31, 2024 deadline (around the end of March). Licensees cannot renew their license until then. As a reminder, an agent cannot renew their license until their broker has renewed their license.

All licensees must complete the continuing education requirements prior to renewing their license. Requirements are different depending on when the license was issued. Read more about renewing your real estate license. Realtors® can access PAR’s education calendar to find available continuing education courses being offered.

If your license renewal is not complete by May 31, 2024, the SREC considers the license expired, and you must cease practice immediately or be subject to possible discipline.

For details about the continuing education requirements and other frequently asked questions, view our license renewal resource page.
