A new collaboration platform aims to unite the real estate industry in sharing ideas and encouraging innovation.
Free to use, Idea Shed is an open forum, and the goal of the site is to encourage discussion and new ideas on topics related to real estate, including technology, service, recruiting, prospecting and so on.
Idea Shed was developed to “bridge the gap between the creative thinking that happens by the people who practice real estate on a daily basis and the innovators whose mission it is to launch tools, systems and resources to make everyone’s professional lives more efficient, successful and productive,” according to the website.
As a real estate agent, like any profession, chances are you sometimes feel frustrated about aspects of the job. Idea Shed aims for agents to share their frustrations, and their ideas to make the industry more successful and convenient. With ever-evolving technology and communications, it’s a way to keep the business up-to-date and thriving.
Once a new idea is submitted on the form, Idea Shed editors review it and if approved, it will be posted to the site for other agents to review and discuss. The hope is that the ideas will help bring positive change to the industry.
Posts on the site are intended to be brought to life by other agents or developers in a related field.
Idea Shed is actively accepting new ideas. To submit ideas, discuss existing ideas or start innovating, visit the forum.
