2023 PA Realtor® Day on the Hill

PA Realtor® Day on the Hill provides a unique opportunity to PAR members interested in public policy and advocacy to learn more about key PAR legislative priorities and take the Realtor® message to the Pennsylvania General Assembly. In addition to meeting with legislators at the Pennsylvania Capitol, Day on the Hill also features a reception with members of the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives on Tuesday evening.

The highlight of the event will be meeting with your legislators in the Capitol. Local government affairs directors and political field representatives will be scheduling meetings with legislators. Please contact your local association’s GAD/ field representative for more information. If you’re not sure who to contact, please reach out to PAR staff.

Schedule of Events

  • Tuesday, June 6

    3:30 p.m. - Registration opens

    4 p.m. - Kick-off session with PAR President Al Perry and PAR advocacy staff

    4:45 p.m. - Realtor® photo on the steps of the Capitol

    5:30 p.m. - Reception with members of the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives

  • Wednesday, June 7

    6:30-7:30 a.m. - Breakfast available at the Hilton (no formal program)

    8 a.m. through afternoon - Hill visits at the Capitol

Virtual Prep Sessions

Virtual prep sessions are scheduled for the week prior to Realtor® Day on the Hill. These sessions will highlight key issues and messaging, answer your questions and make sure everyone is prepared to head to the Hill on Wednesday, June 7.

Accommodations

Realtor® Day on the Hill is free to attend, including overnight accommodations on Tuesday evening, but all members must pre-register. PAR will be making your overnight reservation for Tuesday evening. Confirmations will be sent to you closer to the program.

PAR Business Meetings

A note to anyone also planning to attend the PAR Spring Business Meetings:

All members must register separately to attend the business meetings. Once you complete registration for the Spring Business Meetings, you will receive a link to make your own hotel reservations for Sunday and/or Monday evening. 

For those staying at the Hilton to attend PA Realtor® Day on the Hill, PAR will be making your reservation for Tuesday evening. You will not need to switch hotel rooms but you will be responsible for making your own hotel reservations Sunday and/or Monday evening.
