Joe Carofino is the broker and owner of Advantage Homes Real Estate and is serving as PAR’s District 9 Vice President.
Joe is active on his local board, the Lawrence County Board of Realtors®, where he is a twice past president. He also participates on several PAR committees, including the Association Services Coordinating Committee, the Executive Committee and Strategic Oversight Committee.
Additionally, Joe is a federal political coordinator for U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (PA-16) and is on the Lawrence County Assessment Appeal Board.
Joe resides in New Castle. He is married with three children and four grandchildren. He enjoys the outdoors in his spare time.
Risk Rating 2.0 was designed by FEMA to modernize the National Flood Insurance Program’s insurance pricing methodology and more accurately tie its rates to the flood risks of individual properties. It begins to take effect on Oct. 1, 2021.
The licensing law contains a limited exclusion from the licensing requirement for persons employed by the owner for managing and maintaining multifamily residential properties. To rely on this exclusion, the regulations require the owner to retain all decision-making authority, including conditions of occupancy, negotiating leases and entering into leases with tenants.
