The promise of a new year

As we say farewell to 2013 and look ahead with hope and promise to 2014, I want to take a moment to wish you well in the New Year.

This is the time of year when we often take the occasion to pause and reflect upon the year that was; the year to come; and to resolve to find ways to better ourselves and those around us.

With all leading economic indicators pointing to steady and continued growth in our real estate industry, I’m beginning this year with a renewed sense of optimism and opportunity. My theme is “Together We Succeed”, and I hope you’ll find ways for PAR to help make 2014 your best year ever.

This year begins with a bang, as we hold our annual Winter Business Meetings, January 26-29 at the Hilton Harrisburg. The meetings are jam packed with professional and educational sessions, committee meetings, annual RPAC awards, installation of the 2014 leadership team and the board of directors meeting. It’s an opportunity for PAR members to come together in one place to exchange ideas, provide insightful feedback and celebrate the special achievements of our members. We look forward to you joining us.

We have many exciting initiatives planned for 2014, many of which were built upon the success of those launched in 2013. In addition, there will be various volunteer opportunities available for members. In the coming weeks and months we will provide information on how each of you can get involved.

With constant career and personal demands, your membership with the Realtor® organization will prove to be a valuable investment in your continued success.  Having a network of your peers is a great way to ensure personal growth and business development, and PAR provides you with the social, professional, technical and educational relationships that can create a wealth of opportunities for you.
