Numerous business-critical resources will be immediately available at reduced or no cost through the National Association of Realtors® ‘Right Tools, Right Now’ program. NAR is relaunching the program, which was originally offered during the financial crisis, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2009-2010, nearly one million Realtors® had access to $54 million worth of similar NAR products and services.
PAR President Bill Festa said, “This is a great benefit to take advantage of. When NAR offered it in the past, it provided support for members and tools to help their businesses.”
“The well-being of our members, their families and their businesses is of paramount importance to NAR’s Leadership Team, myself and our staff,” said NAR CEO Bob Goldberg. “This initiative will make new and existing NAR products and services immediately available to Realtors® at reduced or no cost. I want NAR members to know we will continue fighting so every Realtor® has the tools and information they need to emerge from this crisis stronger and more prepared for their future.”
In response to the current health crisis, NAR is providing two months of access to Members TeleHealth at no cost to members, via the Right Tools, Right Now program.
Members TeleHealth provides access to a network of more than 2,300 board-certified physicians, who can address non-emergency medical issues via smartphone, tablet or computer.
Members must enroll by April 15 to take advantage of the program. You’ll need your NRDS ID number to sign up.
NAR anticipates that members will find this service beneficial and has negotiated significantly discounted pricing for those who wish to continue with this plan at the end of the two-month period. To further assist members, the standard enrollment fee has also been waived.
Enrollment in the NAR-funded benefit is limited*, so check first with your insurance provider, even if it’s Medicare, as you may already have access to telemedicine.
Among the other resources now widely available, members can access webinars with tips for managing finances in uncertain times; educational resources to build or hone professional skills; and a free copy of the widely used Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers.
“Over the past two weeks, we have seen the direct and often significant impact this crisis has had on our members,” said NAR President Vince Malta. “With that uncertainty hanging over all of our heads, NAR is striving to present solutions that will bring Realtors® relief and allow them to continue living their lives and conducting business with as much normalcy as possible.”
