Mensch will fill the unexpired seat held by former state senator Rob Wonderling who retired to head the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Ellen B. Renish, chair of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), said the RPAC Trustees were in full support of Rep. Mensch and encouraged REALTORS® to “get out the vote.”

“We are very pleased that Bob will represent us in the 24th District,” said Renish. “He’s the best candidate for REALTORS®.”

Mensch will fill Wonderling’s unexpired term that ends in late 2010. Mensch will have to run again next year if he wants the seat for a full four-year term.

Mench, 63, of Marlborough Township defeated Anne Henning Scheuring, 64, a Lansdale councilwoman.

The 24th district comprises parts of Lehigh, Northampton, Bucks and Montgomery counties.
