This course will remind students of agency law, specifically PA agency law. This course will review students in the use of standard forms to aid them in complying with RELRA. We will discuss the requirement to always have two forms with every consumer, a Consumer Notice and a second form which outlines the agent’s relationship with the consumer, which can be representation or non-representation. We will provide scenarios and talking points for agents to engage in conversations with consumers about agency and fees. We’ll review and discuss both the duties owed by licensees in PA to all consumers, and the specific fiduciary duties owed to clients. We’ll also discuss undisclosed dual agency pitfalls.
