Sherri Martin is the director of Public Policy and Political Affairs for PAR. She is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the association’s comprehensive legislative, regulatory and political programs.
Martin first joined PAR in February 2014 as the political affairs manager. Prior to joining PAR, Martin worked for seven years as the government affairs director for the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors®. In the past, she also has worked for a statewide professional association, large lobbying and legal firm, as well as a Pennsylvania gubernatorial campaign.
Martin is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
Real estate licensees currently are able to complete continuing education credits through livestream learning methods under waivers first issued by the Department of State during the pandemic and extended by the General Assembly in June. This latest waiver extension is set to expire on Sept. 30.
Legislation creating the framework for distribution of $570 million in rental assistance funding was signed into law. The additional funding for Pennsylvania property owners and renters was provided in the second federal stimulus bill approved by Congress in late December.
